The stock has been appreciating about a dollar a day since I last purchased it. From the closing price of the stock, I’ve already made 6.16% yield! Wow.. not bad for a few hours work. I’m expecting the price to surge upwards strongly tomorrow after the market opens as the 2007 results were just released this evening after the market closed. Hopefully, it will shoot upwards of $35. 
Have been investing and diversifying seriously for about a year now, but only recently opened my online trading account, even though I had my CDP account opened for more than a year. Guess you can say that I’m really risk adverse and want to learn as much as I can before dabbling in online trading.
I took the plunge just a few days ago, and made my very 1st online trade! A purchase of 1 lot of very very good stocks of a blue chip company in Hong Kong. Right time to buy in my opinion. I’m now very focused on learning as much as I can on this, and I must say that its really really interesting. If I sold today by the way, I would have made about S$500. All for a couple hours of work. But I’m holding on…. I think the price will appreciate after the announcement tomorrow of their next 3 year plan and profits for 2007. 
Just going through some photos, and realised to my horror that I havent gone through and sorted out our December Bintan Holiday photos yet! Argghhhh.!!!! Will try and do that over the next couple of weeks, and will upload it soon. In the mean time, heres a really nice one of the family.
Kyla and I went for an early morning birding trip at Jane’s place at Malcolm Park. This is Kyla’s first birding trip out, and she enjoyed it tremendously. One of the highlights, was the very close view of a Yellow Vented Bulbul’s nest with 2 tiny eggs in it. She was completely thrilled!
“Daddy…Daddy!” Elkan shouted as I stepped into the house this evening after getting home.
“What’s up, Elkan?”
“Teacher Jesse (Elkan’s Playschool teacher) smacked my hand today..” he said with deadpanned seriousness.
“Why? What did you do?” I asked gamely, and with mocked astonishment.
“Because I snatched a toy from Daven” …
“Really? Why did you do that?” I asked….
“Because I wan to play.” …”Then I laugh and ran away, and Daven cry.”
“Teacher Jesse say it’s not farny ok?” then he smiled and ran away.
This boy is sooooo naughty and yet he’s cute… What can I say? sigh…
