We bought a Mango Tree… ![]()
Its just passed 2 months since I started at my new work place. Thank God that things have been settling down over the last few weeks. I’ve had to let go a manager in my team and search for a better guy. Thank God I managed to find a really good bloke through a recommendation by a good ex-colleague. Looks to have the right and appropriate experience. He’ll start this Thursday.
That gives me more than 2 months worth of transition time for him and the incumbent. I really couldn’t have asked for more. I’m so humbled that God is showing Himself to be fully and sovereignly in control. He truly provides all the resources that I need.
ok …. here are some photos of the house.
The living room with the balcony in the background. I didn’t take this with flash, so the living room looks really dark.

Diagonal right view of the balcony from the living room. You can see the 3ft fish tank here, and a HDB block in the background.

Heres a photo of the fish tank from the balcony itself.

We have an almost unblocked view, with the park just in front of the balcony. From this view, the nearest block to us is visible. Here, you can also see the water feature.

Photo of the water feature from the balcony. Ignore the pail on the right. I’m removing that. ![]()

Kyla and Ariel mucking around.

Kyla and Ariel on the 2nd floor banister.

Kyla and Ariel sitting on the platform just in front of the full height book shelf. You can see visitors to my house through the glass on the side wall. That view looks through to the living room.

Moved into our new place today. The movers came round about 8:45am after we dropped the kids off at dad & mum’s place. There were about 7 to 8 of the boys at SG Bros who came by to help us move. They are really quite good. Started at 8:45am, and everything was brought over to the new place and unloaded by about 2:30pm. In between, Christine and I even had the chance to go to Ikea to get a few essential stuff.
The unpacking was tough though…. , but I’ve managed to unpack round about 65 boxes already by the time of this post, and I am TOTALLY BEAT!!!!! Wah lau….. really siong man…. Please NEVER EVAR talk to me about moving house again!!
Didn’t have time to take any photos, but this is a photo of the completed living room without any furniture. Apologies for the bad photo. Taken from my phone…

The Wrought Iron grill at the balcony was completed today as well, and the curtains went up. Tomorrow is the final piece. The landscaping folks will be here to deliver my Frangipani and assorted landscaping items.
Sigh.. my body is so so tired, and I have a mild headache… but… just dun wan to sleep.
